Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• FaWork with outside data sources and APIs.

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

• Collaborate with the development team to design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Android applications.

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's coding standards.

• Test and debug applications to ensure optimal functionality.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of Java and/or Kotlin.

• Familiarity with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design.

• Prior internship or project experience in mobile app development.
